tonight at the RIH meeting...

It was great to see everyone even though I didn't get a chance to hang around and talk. I had been there since 5:00 and I was running toward the exit. I met up with my roommate from the hospital and was all a twitter talking to her. It is funny, the impact some people have on us. I had collected her email address and emailed her but she was on drugs and so was I so somehow we missed one letter and the email never got to her. I was glad to see her. Betz

Oh Kristen, Too funny!!! LOL!! My roommate had to put up with me. She was so quiet and reserved and I was the loudmouth. She wasn't upset though, she said I inspired her. It was probably the begging to be let go home 2 hours after open surgery and everytime I saw a doctor after that. Thanks so much for the kind words. I felt so pumped up for the meeting and I think it was my enthusiasm showing too. I have lost a lot of weight though, this is a wild ride we are on.

I am bummed. I couldn't go. I had no one to watch my son and I know he wouldn't be quiet or sweet for the whole time we were there. It seems like you all had a great time. Maybe next month. At least one can home. LOL Ciao, Jamice
