Ok, scheduled to see Dr. Harrington on the 7th...I was hoping that if all testing was well, I'd get a surgery date that day, but I'm reading other posts and I see that others have several appts. with the surgeon? So I wonder, am I crazy to think I'll get a date next Thursday??? I'm going to the nut house for sure!!! I'm going crazy...each time I think I'm there, another step arrives! I know it will come soon, but today wouldn't be soon enough for me!

i believe the "normal" procedure is to schedule your surgery when you see the surgeon once your testing is complete. i think the only time that strays from the norm is when there are other factors involved [like an abnormal test, or like with me - the need for multiple procedures at a time, requiring more information than a typical pre-op patient]. i'd make a wager that you get your date on the 7th. I can't really answer your question, as I am in the same situation. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Roye, even though I'm being treated for the bacteria in my stomach, I was still given a date. I guess everyone is different. Good luck! L It's a to the finish line now.

Does anyone know how far out Dr. Harrington is booking? It seems like most people have Dr. Roye.
