NUTRITIONIST

I had to go to a nutricianist in warwick because the one Dr. Roye reccomends said they are not taking any new people on ??????????????????Well I met cindy and she is very nice . Does any one else go there??? Just wondered elaine

Yes, I went for my consultation in Warwick...is it the one in the mall parking lot?? And it is Cindy and I can't remember her last name...very nice, mild mannered?? I will be going to her post - op. I liked her a lot. The staff is very nice there too...... Kristen D

Good morning all, Everyone is talking about going to a nutrionist, before and after surgery. I have had all of my testing done and I'm waiting to hear my sleep study results. No one in the office has ever mentioned going to a nutrionist. Am I missing something? Also, I have read about going to a ???, and having a tube put down your throat. What's that all about?? I'm starting to freak!!! Nancy

Nancy every one has to go to a battery of tests and consults but I didnt get my packet of appointments until after I got my date. Good luck and I did have to have the tube down the throat but if u do also tell them u want to be put asleep to have the tube put in. U will thasnk me for the info. Elaine

Hi Elaine, Thanks, for getting back to me. Do you mean, you already have your surgery date?? I've had everything done that was listed on the paper, the office gave me. I called today, to try to get a pre-op appt., to go over all my tests and I was told I had to wait until I got back the results of my sleep study. I had the tube thing done to me, when I had emergency surgery, without being put to sleep. I wonder if they will accept that? It amazes me, that the office gives bits and pieces of things to have done. Just when I think I've accomplished everything, I hear there's more to do. What's a girl to do?? LOL! Yes its the one in the mall parking lot. Itsgreat to park and no fee . She is very nice ill see her post -op also she was very informative and made me comfortable with the menu she went over for the few weeks after. And I see her on my 3rd week after surgery. Elaine
