THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with the idea of buying baby food. Just yesterday I was looking at them and reading labels, boy, they did not seem too tasty...YUCK! I love the cream of soup idea.... Now, what about the sodium in them? Is that a factor??? Oh, and I hope you guys don't mind, but I'd like to post your information on my page so I can go back to it when I need it..and maybe help others in the future...Is this ok with you?????
Thanks again.

hi L
the only thing with sodium content is to just make sure you drink enough water to keep hydrated. keep in mind that although you'll be eating soup with a fairly high sodium content - you're only eating about 1/16th of the entire can at a time!
you'll be given cream soups once you are moved off of the clear liquids while in the hospital. this will be around day 2 or 3 [depending on when your surgery was and how you're handling things]. then you go home, drinking cream soups for about 4 more days.. and about a week after surgery - you're moved to puree.
i don't mind if you post my stuff on your profile.
have fun!

Hey Na-Dene... thank you... I appreciate that.
I read your profile earlier and I've been meaning to ask you, when you told your co-workers you were having your gall bladder out instead of WLS, how did that work out for you? I'm in the same situation here, but I've had my gall bladder out while I was here :0( ... but I don't want to tell them what I'm going for and am having a hard time figuring out what to say... helpppppppp.... I know that I'll start off by saying I need to take a medical leave because I'm having surgery, and praying that he (supervisor) doesn't ask any other questions, but I doubt it. If I do tell him, I know it will be everyone's knowledge by the time I leave that day :0(

PS HUGS RIGHT BACK AT YA NEIGHBOR :0)
DO YOU WALK IN EP? IF SO, MAYBE I COULD JOIN YA ;0)
Don't sweat it! You could say ya having a hernia repaired. Kristen had her hernia repaired when having surgery. The doctor only puts on the leave of absences paperwork that you are having surgery, nothing more!!!
I recently went into work to get my schedule and so many people were asking if I lost weight. I said yeah and they asked me how I was doing it, all I said was that I stopped eating junk that was in the break room, stopped soda and coffee and that I was doing protein shake, protein bars and that I was walking. All True!... So when I go back to work and they see me doing this everything looks legit!
