Hey, Kristen, Great suggestions! I know everyone will appreciate your ideas. I'm almost, almost, LOL, excited to start eating this stuff. I was afaid there wouldn't be enough variety. I love cream of mushroom soup. Have you ever tried the Yoplait apple turnover and orange creamsicle, fat free yogurt? It's delicous, for anyone *****ally doesn't like yogurt. What kind of vitamins, do we have to take and how soon after surgery do you start taking them? A million ???, I know, but thanks for listening. You really got me out of a funk. LOL! Talk to you soon. i'll have to try those yogurts - i'm always in the mood for an apple turnover. lol at first, we just have to take a chewable multi-vitamin, like flintstones or centrum chewables. also, 1500mg of chewable calcium per day. i use the bariactric advantage vitamins for everything now. then at 3 months, you get your bloodwork done and dr. roye will adjust your supplements to make sure you get enough. now i'm on iron and a b-complex. i'm also taking biotin - which is supposedly very good for your hair, skin and nails. i'm losing hair by the handful. so anything i can take to help that out [or make me think i'm helping out, even if i'm not] is worth the extra pill.. lol

Yum, Yum, Stop and Shop, has the best selection of Yoplait yogurt. Lemon meringue, Boston cream pie, apple turnover, Mango, orange cream, and the flavors go on and on. They are all fat free. Need, I say more??? LOL! Nancy

Hay Nancy! Yes they sound very yummy but just be sure to watch the sugar content or that "Yumm" might turn to, "ouch my bumm!"... lol Remember too some become lactoice intolerant after surgery too.. So if ya gonna try em go easy till you know your ok with them. I myself can drink 1% milk and I can handle light yogurt but any kind of sugar free ice cream goes right through me like wild fire! I've tried two different places not far from my home and by the time I got back home my insides were rip roaring and raging!!! I can handle some sugars, like the half cranberry and half water I drink but not what ever it is they put in the freakin ice cream I tell ya..lol Good Luck! ~Na-Dene~

Hey, Na-Dene, I eat Yoplait every morning, but after surgery, it may be a different story. I hadn't given too much thought about lactose. I guess, like everyone else, I'll find out what sticks and what runs. LOL! Thanks, for pointing this out to me. Hope to meet you at Sept.'s meeting. Nancy
