Friday appointment with Dr. Ryder

Friday I have an appointment with Dr. Ryder. I am going to see how I like her and the office. I have already met with Dr. Pohl. I like him and he does have the expierence to back him, but it can't hurt to see another person just see how you feel with them. Nothing wrong with shopping aroung. Hi Jamice! I think you'll really like Dr. Ryder. Everyone told me I would, and they were right! She is very easy to talk to, will make you feel comfortable and answer any/all of your questions. I even asked her what made her go into bariatric surgery and got a story about how she met her husband during their residency and ended up staying at RIH because of him, etc. It was nice to see a doctor willing to share some of their personal life when you have to disclose so much about your own. She'll also be very honest with you about the fact that they are just starting to do the LapBand at that office. She explains how this impacts the surgery, etc. Some people will be comfortable with this (I was), and some won't. You just have to do what's right for you. take care, Trace

Hey there, I am sorry I didn't get back to you after my visit. I have been so busy and my little boy has been sick. I really liked her. I have to really think hard if I want to go to her. I like she is young and personable. I know that she will be governed over by someone that has had done over a thousand LapBands, but I don't know I know that Dr. Pohl has done over five hundred. I know that with that experience he will be better able to find the port for the fills and what not. I don't know I am just going to think a bit. I might just go with her. I liked the office. I bit like a maze when you first go, but all in all it was a nice office. I liked her. I won't be going to the meeting. I have to pick up a TV I bought last night out in Attleboro. Plus my mother won't be up until around 6:30 when the meeting starts. It's hard when I don't have much friends and family that can watch my son when I need to go to things like that. I am sure in the future she would watch him. But I totally forgot about it when I scheduled to pick up my TV and have my mom watch him. I am sure I will hear about how you all did.
