Sleep study scheduled

I went to see Dr. Millman yesterday and they have scheduled my sleep study for Aug. 2nd. Hopefully, I will not have to have the 2nd study done on Aug. 9th. Then I go back to see Dr. Millman on Aug. 24th for the results. Out of all of the tests, this one has taken me the longest to complete. UGH... They did however, tell me that my tonsils were huge and I almost had to have them out. Hopefully, they don't change their minds about it. That will only delay my surgery. Does anyone know if the last test - Blood test- has to be a fasting test?

You are on your way. Congratulations. I didn't have to go to Dr. Millman because I already had a doctor for sleep apnea, what did you think of Dr. Millman? Is he who Dr. Roye/Ryder /Harrington send people to?

I only saw Dr. Millman for litterally 1 minutes. He looked at my tonsils, said they were very big and left. Dr. Harrignton sent me to him.

UGH. Glad to know I'll drive an hour for a 1 minute appointment! Although, I'm not sure if I have Dr. Millman or not, but I am using Dr. Ryder so it's likely. Yes, the blood test requires you to fast for at least 6 hours. Trace

I did spend about 10-15 mins with the RN. She asked a bunch of questions, looked down my throat, told me about my tonsils, then had the dr. come in, look at my tonsils again and say that I prob. would not need them out before wls.

HI Claudia: How's everything going? I'm getting anxious for this sleep study to be over. I've never slept away from my son before. Its going to be strange. I'm hoping I only need the one study, then I can go directly for my blood work, then make the appointment with Dr. Harrington. My husband just started his testing this week. I'm going first, then he's planning on having his surgery in January.
