An angel for Betz

I am Betz's sister-in-law and I wanted to be her angel. Here is my problem, I am leaving for vacation on July 28 and not returning until the 6th of August. At which time I am hopping off the plane and searching her out. Where ever she is, I will be there soon after I arrive back in R.I. In the meantime I want to ask one of you to call the hospital and check on her often, or go see her..........say you are her sister or something. But whoever decides to be her angel HAS to call me the day of her surgery to let me know how she is doing. Betz, you know I feel like dirt for not being able to keep my promise to you, but I am there for you girl, in heart and soul. You go girl!!! You are in great hands!!! So whoever decides to be Betz's angel, email me and I will get you my cell # so you can update me often. What a surprise to come to the board and see my name in a title. Donna you have no reason to feel bad. You KNOW I will be fine and I will be glad to see you when I am home and you are home. For all those who don't know, Donna has a vacation planned and I was not dilligent in telling her I got a date for surgery. She just found out the other day and I would never want her to worry about ME when she is away. Not when there are cell phones. Unfortunately for me my surgery is also the day my 20 year old daughter leaves for a vacation (long ago planned) and five days before my husband leaves for a business trip. Betz

Betz, I will worry about you. I know how much you love hospitals......NOT! And you can't stop me from thinkin boutcha not matter what "goofy" character I may be hangin with that day. Yes I know you will be fine, because I know you have the best surgeon there ever was!! And the staff @ RIH is soooooooooooo awesome too. Thank you very much for the kind words you left on my OH site. I appreciate your thoughts about Aaron also. I hope to see you again soon, before I leave. We should go for coffee or something. Because once I leave you head for the losing side, so I won't see you again until you are on your spot on the losers bench with me. And then , very soon you will be singing with me.....I love to strutt around the house singing," I'm a LOSER, a wonderful LOSER" ( the guys crack up when I do that) I see Dr. Roye Monday morning ( wanna come with me???), I will threaten him that if he doesn't treat you well, I will come back from Fla and hurt him, LOL J/K Talk to you soon Love ya, ~Donna~

Hey Betz, I talked to Jamie tonight and told here that if you need anything at all I will be around that week. If you need company at the hospital or need help at home I can be there with no problems, all you need to do is let me know!! I work 5 mins from the hospital and 10 mins from your house so its no trouble at all. Let me know, okay? With love, Em

Em, You are so sweet. I would be crazy not to take you up on your offer. I think the only thing that I need to be sure happens is that I get the information out to a couple of people on the internet. Also Donna R is going to be in Florida at the time and wants updates. She is Daves sister but he will not talk to her. Long story and not worth the time unless you come to visit me.
