Hi Claudia: How was your appt. with Dr. Harrington yesterday? Did you get cleared to go back to work? I've got another question about pre-op. Does he put you on a liquid diet before surgery? Thanks for all of your help.

Hi kelli, Sorry I just got home. I was out trying to get cheap clothes at thrift stores but didn't find anything for work like i wanted. But my appointment went well. He told me i could go back to Curves and also work. He told me i could stay out one more week if i wanted but i told him no I wanted to go back. He told me to make a appointment with my reg dr as I have been getting dizzy sometimes when I get up so he feels it might be time for me to be taken off some meds. So thats good. And no Dr Harrington does not put you on a liquid diet before surgery,. Just the day before you have to be on clear liquids. Kelli, I would love to meet you some time. Claudia

Hi Claudia: I'm glad you got cleard for work. I'm hoping he keeps me out for at least 7 weeks. I need a break...lol Have you tried shopping at Savers - they are located in East Providence and Warwick on Bald Hill Road. I've had great luck in finding work clothes/casual clothes. I can't wait to get this sleep study over, so I can get my blood work done, then head up to schedule meeting w/Dr. Harrington. I'm hoping to go to the August meeting, maybe we could meet up then. Have a great weekend, its suppose to be really hot! Kelli
