Good Morning Shelia,, Congrats on your surgery date Yes you will be fine. Don't worry about it. You are doing the right thing. You will be in the step down unit for a few days and they are just great there. Yes you need someone at home to help you. I had a lap RNY and I was very tired and really needed some help. But then again I am 59 years old so that may have made a difference. Take your time and follow the doctor's orders on your diet which will probably be liquid for a couple of weeks. Rest, rest and more rest and maybe a little walking when you feel up to it. At least it's summer and you can sit outside and get some fresh air (if it doesnt rain) . We are here to help you with any problems you may have. I believe everyone here has had every type of problem there is re: wls. Bring on the questions and the posts, we are here to listen and help.
