Carol I know I should be posting on here more...I am working my butt off lately and there isn't enough hours in the day...I'm dead tired when I get home.
Tonight my son graduated from HS and I'm so proud of him.
I am doing well, I'm down 50 lbs in 2 months...I still have food issues but i'm learning to eat slower..
I'm not getting enough liquids though, I try to drink at work but it's so hard. I think I'm getting in about 45 ouces a day if that..
The protein is a little hard, I am using the liquid protein from GNC 3 tablespoons is 18 grams so I'm doing it 3 times a day...that's the only thing that's working for me...I just can't do the shakes..
Other then that, things are looking good....but I'm a little nervous my urine is a darker color and its because I'm not taking in enough liquid...so I have to try harder...
I hope this finds everyone happy and healthy...I'll try to post more ...

Congratuations on the 50 lbs...wow...I am down 29 lbs in 4 weeks but had a stand still for a few days...i got worried there but i then lost a lb....so hopefully, the plateau has ended for a few weeks. I am having a very hard time with liquids and protein. I cant get enough liquids in because I have to wait at least 2 hrs after I eat or i get very sick if I try to drink.( My pouch gets all gassy) and I feel like I want to burp and many times I can't. I told my doc this last time i saw him and he said wait as long as you have to, to drink. The protein is a killer for me, as I hate the shakes, but I do them in the morning with protein powder. I drink it along with my coffee. I am trying to get the protein now from food. I have tried roasted chicken yesterday and today and it goes down very well and stays there. My urine is on the dark side too and I know I need to drink more, but liquids just dont to go down. Tomorrow I have a chance to try some beef. I was thinking that I would just have a very tiny little slice and see what happens. Hopefully, it will stay down.....

i'm still lurking around, just seem to be a day late in posting most of the time. I've been real busy lately, even though I don't have a job. It seems like all i do is reply to job postings and go on interviews. lol
i've got three really cool prospects on the horizon.. one working on the navy base, one working for Raytheon and a contractor position for Citizens Bank. I hope i get the contractor one, because it pays me REALLY well. lol. but we'll see!
so far i have been extremely lucky. i've only had 2 issues with food and that was the scallop incident and then a fish/scallion incident. i dn't know why i thought it'd be fine to eat scallions.. but it wasn't. those little suckers got balled up and stuck! i frothed/foamed for hours. i can finally eat chicken! woohooo. i just have to watch how it's cooked.
i have cheese sticks about twice a day.. once for breakfast [i'm always running late, so these are GREAT for eating in the car/on the go]. i'm in love with meatballs all of a sudden. especially from Braga's in Middletown. I go once a week, get an order w/mozzarella cheese on Monday and it lasts til Thursday. LOL
Other than that, i'm doing well. getting my liquids in fine - but i've always been someone who has to drink constantly. i don't do shakes or anything, but i get about 60-70g through food. i add cheese to everything i eat, and make sure each serving of protein is at least 10 grams, and i eat 6 times a day. always small meals, mind you.. but it works really well for me.
so that's my story.. i'm off to a polo match this afternoon. cant wait - it's my first one of the season and my scotland team is playing! hope y'all stay cool today!
