Wow, lots of new people and site changes!!

Hi all! I havent been on this site on months, unfortunately. I have been so busy with a new job and living life to the fullest....its been quite a year let me tell you! I am now down 240 lbs. and still losing. My year rebirthing date was April 26th and its been amazing at what a year has done....amazing. I never believed in a million years that I would be feeling so good. I am eating exactly what I am supposed to, and making sure to take all my vitamins and protien shakes each day. Its true...if you do exactly what your Doc tells you to, there wont be problems and be much success! I was engaged on Christmas!! YAY! I hope everyone is doing well that has had theyre surgery, and to those waiting....hold on for the ride of your life!! Glad to be back amoung friends. Dee~

Congrats on your success and your engagement, that is so wonderful!! I am 3 days post-op and I really enjoy hearing success stories like yours. Do you go to the monthly support meetings at RIH? Kristin

Hi Kristin, 3 days wow!!! Good for you!! Unfortunately, I have never attended any monthly support meetings at RIH. I am not a city girl at all, and traveling Providence scares me. All the traffic, and angry people!! While I was doing my tests for a year, I always had someone drive me in....it sounds silly, but I hadnt ever been to Providence. Living in Smithfield has always afforded me to be close enough to North Providence to shop and things like that, but to stay country bound!!! I really should of attended them for support, but I had so many friends supporting me that I just never felt I needed it. And any questions I had, I came here...and always got a flurry of great answers and wonderful kindness and support. This site is priceless! Dee~
