hey terri and kristen
Hi Carol,
Sorry it's been awhile since I posted. I started a little job at my friends pet shop and well it's fun but I'm tired, its alot of work.
I have been battling with a stomach virus since friday. I'm afraid to eat anything in case it won't agree with me, but today I feel a little better.
I'm down 42 lbs as of yesterday and really feeling great with all that.
Will you be at the meeting tomorrow night?
Teri
HI terri and kristen,
So sorry Kris to hear about your trouble with UHC ...i thought many people have had that insurance and didnt have a problem...I am doing ok, trying differnt foods..some agree and some dont...taking it slowly. I am down approximately 22 lbs.
Yes i am going to the support group but first i am going to the 5pm meeting at costs 20$ this is the one i had signed up for in the hospital ...its a sort of transition from pureed foods to solids...although i have tried some already, in fact quite a few, that i know are easy to digest, i still have anxiety about trying certain ones. I will be there for the 630 on too. See you all there........carol
hello ladies!
i'm still hanging around, i promise! i've been super busy trying to buy a new[to-me] car. Just bought a VW Jetta last Friday, so i spent ALL day at the registry yesterday.. not so much fun!!
i've been doing really great with foods. The only thing i can't deal with is chicken - in any form. and it sucks!! so i stick to ground beef, slow-cooked beef, and cheese. i've tried some deli turkey, and that seemed to work well. more often than not, i just grab a slice of deli meat, a slice of cheese, put a little mustard on it - and voila! lunch and supper 1 and 2 are taken care of.
i'll be at the meeting tomorrow night, as well as the transition class at 5. so i'll see you there Carol - and Teri better be there, too! Although, I suspect she's well on her way to being transitioned by now.
I can't wait to meet everyone, since I didn't get to the last time!
Be Well!
Kristen
