**Good morning-better late than never **

Hi everyone, Nadene...thanks for the concern...I love you guys over here....everyone looks out for each other had a crazy weekend and could not post...but I am back!! Friday went well. I really like Dr. Roye. I have had a few of my tests already and now just have to wait for approval from insurance and do a few tests after that. I did call my insurance company to make sure I would be approved. Because of my health conditions I do...and I had to gain 4lbs to qualify...1st time in my life I was told I was under weight!! LOL!! I know I can't have the surgery until at least October. At that time the stent in my heart will be 1 yr old. I cannot have any type of surgery until the 1yr mark. I asked him if shooting for October was realistic and he said he does not see why not. I am bummed in a way because I want it ASAP, but I didn't get this heavy overnight so I sit, I wait....oh well. And Shelli, Please don't get discouraged. I am not thrilled that I have to wait either, but Dr. Roye is doing what is best for your health and mine. At least he is not a fly by night surgeon who is just out for the money. I asked him to talk my cardiologist into letting me do it earlier than October...he said that if he did not care about me and my health (and his reputation) he would...but he said that my health comes first. Maybe we will be having surgery around the same time...we can support one another during our healing time. Don't let it consume you...your time will come and believe me, it will be worth it!!!
