Shel: I am so sorry for your disappointment! I wanted to tell you that I went through the same thing (almost) I was told be the "head doc" that I was to mentally unstable to have the surgery, and I tried, but could not hold back the tears, by the time I got to the car I was balling!! It really did not set me back that long though because I fought it (see my profile and the letter that I wrote to Dr. Zimmerman) I know that you will get through this and I just want you to know that we are here for you and I will be waiting for you on the "other side"!! Jeez Kristin......same here. Dr. Zimmerman brought everything to a standstill last year for me too. I had a long wait and now have some counceling under my belt, so I passed this last psych exam (but with another Dr.). This delay is not the only disappointment I've had during my 3 years in this journey, but it's certainly the easiest to get through. Dr. Roye is only doing what is necessary to keep me healthy, and I know that........but like you, these things can bring me to tears and it's hard to get back up after each one of these little "slip and falls". But I will. All of you have been so very comforting and I know the time will go by quickly........it was just a shock is all. But thank you so much for sending me a note of kindness. It's very appreciated. Best of luck with your upcoming surgery. We'll all be here cheering for YOU on YOUR day!!!! Shel

I am so sorry Shel that you did not get the news you wanted concerning your surgery date. I am sure it is a disappointment, but you know that you WILL get it done, and be even healthier since you are going to work on some of those issues before hand. I want to thank you again for your support during my tough time, and mentioning me in your posts during your difficult time. I can start signing my name Kristen Lanni....LOL
