Hi Tina, welcome to the losers side. I would only have soups, strained....for the first few weeks. make sure you take your protein drinks first. Congratulations..... Teri

Welcome home! I glad you are doing well. Though I am not post op, I would say take is slow and get all the fluids you need in. Here's to a speedy recovery! Jamice

Glad you're back home, wow that was a short stay....you will do fine...take it slow, follow the doctor's orders, if he/she said liquid pureed diet. Like Teri says, cream soups 94%fat free, protein drinks, sf jello, sf puddings, water, baby foods, etc...if you really start feeling hungry like i did, call Helen and ask her what do to. I did have 2 bad experiences but i learned, like Kristen said to me, you have a new born tummy, so treat it like a new born. she was right,.... by the way, teri, if you are reading this, not only did i have scallops, applesauce, i had two pieces of string cheese later on last night and felt really good. I find i can eat better in the evening, then during the day. So i will pace myself. The true test is going to be this Sunday, my son is having a cook out with freinds and family so I know I am going to have head hunger smelling all of the wonderful smells that you have at a barbeque...but I will bring what i have to ....knowing that all of this is only temporary and in time i will be able to eat most foods....
