Lap Band?

Has anyone here have had the Lap Band done by anyone other than Dr. Pohl? I am just curious. I will be meeting with Dr. Pohl for the first time other than the seminar on Thursday. I am excited to finally feel like I am doing something. I haven't taken any of the tests yet. I will be starting that soon. I just need to take to him and people at his office. I have to be on a 6 month diet for my insurance. I am 2 months in. So I figure I have 4 months before anything really can be done or scheduled due to approval. I just wanted to know if there is anyone out there that has had the Lap Band done with someone else and can tell me how their experience has been and how has their experience been with the Doctor listening to them when asking for fills.
