Hi Kerry,
They are going to have you go to a website to fill out a profile...once done, call them back and they will pull it off the site and have a nurse review it..then they call you for an appt.
I have my 1st consult on Friday afternoon for the lap band...wish me luck!!

buy 1 can each of cream of chicken/mushroom soups. pour can into ice cube trays and freeze! this gives you ~an ounce per ice cube and makes it easy to store. do not buy more than 1 can, like me - cuz i have enough cr. of chicken soup to feed an army.
buy SMALL packages of non-fat/1%, small curd cottage cheese.
same with riccotta cheese.
egg beaters are better than regular eggs if yo're going to have eggs.
you can throw in some 2% shredded cheese, too.
Columbo Light yogurt [only buy 2, 3 at the most]
1 can refried beans - i mixed LF sour cream to make it soupier.
I couldn't eat tuna until i was about 2 weeks out, but it's probably good to have around. Still can't eat chicken, but some can..
I can't handle pudding to this day.. never liked jello.. but some people can. SF popsicles are yummy. Definitely Crystal Light!!!! I swear by this stuff.
I wouldn't touch the juices.. i couldn't drink them until maybe last week - and even then, they're kind of wasted calories. i'd rather eat a piece of fruit.
hope that helps!
Claudia,
3 more days.....I'm so happy for you...and don't be scared...I hope i've helped you through a few of the things that you were afraid of. I know everything is going to be fine and you're going to be so happy you did it..
here are some of the staples that got me through, sf jello sf pudding, soups broths, try pureeing like tuna, and scrabbled eggs...
I wish you the best of luck,
Love ya,
Teri
