Dr Ryder/Roye- Lap Band

ok ok So I disappeared. I chickened out of my surgery twice. I said forget it, thats it, I dont care, Im not having it done. So ive been living it up, watching what i eat, havent lost a drop. Ofcourse. I went to my endocrinologist the other day. I stopped taking my BP meds because I didnt think I needed them and well my blood pressure was 150/80. Im 27. Oy. i gained 40lbs since my son was conceived in 2002. He told me basically I needed to lose because of my PCOS. I told him I thought about bypass but had chickened out- he said I should re-think it over. He said its going to be tons harder now to conceive and health going down the tubes. Anyway, I dont think I can do the RNY. BUT originally when I went to dr harrington in May 05, I wanted lap band. He told me he didnt do it, so I started leaning towards RNY. Well now apparently they DO do it, but only Ryder and Roye. I am done with all testing, b/c like I said I had a surgery date already, i was like a week away and cancelled. I wonder how long, considering I have all this testing done I have to wait to get in for a consult?? opinions? Anyone who had lap band- I would like to hear from you. Anyway I am 272 but honestly would like to lose 80lbs. I hope lap band is the right choice. Thanks for listening.
