Hi Elaine, I have my first appointment with Dr. Ryder tomorrow too. I'm not sure how long the process takes, but I share you're excitement about the appointment. Hope all goes well.

5/19/ I met Dr.Roye he is very nice it was a short visit and he explained everything to me I, I brought all my recent tests to him from my gi Dr. And I have to take one over again and then we will set up the surgery on the results of the latest test.. Then he will have a couple new tests for me to take his office is setting them up and will call me . So thats it now the wait is on . I spoke to blue cross myself and they wished me luck and I shouldnt have a problem on there end .. Ssoooooooooooooooooooooooo I waite elaine

Hi Elaine, I had my appointment with Dr. Roye to schedule surgery on May 8. It was after all of my tests and insurance approval was completed. The appointment was just to schedule the date for surgery. My surgery is scheduled for August 3. Coincidently it happens to be 1 year to the day that I had my initial consultation with Helen in Dr. Roye's office. I did have a delay with approval and a delay of 1 month because I injured my knee and needed to have surgery to repair a tear of my meniscus. Here's to your luck, I am sending well wishes your way.
