Waiting for Packet...
Kenny,
Yes take it easy. I want you to know though, if you want to have the surgery sooner, you could choose to have Dr Ryder do it instead of Dr Roye. Dr Roye is booking way into end of August beginning of September, and Dr Ryder can get you in alot sooner. That's what I did, and so is my friend Rose.
Once you get your packet make all your remaining appointments and get them all done so that you can get your date...
It was amazing for me, I went to my initial consulations on November 16, 2005 and exactly 5 months and 3 days later I had surgery. I know it's unheard of, but it did happen for me. But I did have most of my testing done before I got my packet.
Just some info for ya,
Teri
Hi Kenny,
I don't know anything about the center you are having yours done at but It took almost 6 months for me to get my 1st packet from the NEMC in Boston.(after 10 million calls) But once it did I filled it out, faxed it in and they called me within a week. Then set up appts for the next month. I lucked out on my initial consulation in that they had a cancelation for the required group sessions, so I got into that right away lol, the next day in fact, I was stoked! So from my initial consulation on April 3rd, was a whirlwind of appointments ( traveling to Boston three times a week sucks, lol ) got my surgery date for May 31st. I could have actually got it for this week but hubby is going on a fishing trip to Montana next week and I didn't want to be alone.
Good Luck to you!
Trish
