What a Happy's Mother's day I had

Well my kids surprised me with a Present to Claw's Jungel Oasis, for a Swedish Massage, I have to book it for this week....And they are taking me to the Steak Loft in Mystic for dinner...(not that I can eat much) but isn't that really sweet...I'm so happy....its been a wonderful day so far....My daughter who lives in Florida called and she is doing really well she's 3 months pregnant now...and feeling great...I'm so happy for that... Hi all,, thanks for the input on the gall bladder........my daughter who also lives in florida..called to wish me happy mother day and is physician's assistant told me to be very careful of what i ate in the next few days too. Sounds like you are having a great moms' day Teri, Thats great. I am getting ready to go to Westerly to see my son's in laws for supper. My other daughter works for a place in walpole that makes gormet pastry. She is bringing over some really cool desserts...maybe i can have a taste of them...just a tiny bit...I dont ever want to experience last night's episode. I know i just had way to much butter on the popcorn and the cold drink really set me over the edge. I also have a very important question...I was going over my surgery papers etc...and one of the sheets said that I had to bring a yellow card with me to the hospital. I was supposed to get this when i had my last blood tests done last week (the 10 day test before surgery) I honestly dont remember getting a yellow tag or some sort. Did any of you post op people get one the day you went for your blood work? It also states on this white sheet that if i dont have the yellow tag, it may result in a delay in surgery what ever that means....Geeze with all of the blood that was done, you would think that the surgerical team would have the results of the blood work that I had. Please let me know asap, I may have to call dr. h's office and find out what I have to do, but if you people didnt have it ...maybe i dont really need it either. Sometimes I think one hand doesnt know what the other hand is doing..... Again, happy mother days to all Carol b... BTW, this trip to Westerly is going to a really wet one!!! It's pouring like crazy here in Attleboro MA

Carol, I didn't get any yellow paper after the blood work. I don't think that it's necessary....all I had to bring with me on the day of surgery was, a list of all my prescriptions, and dosage, and a photo id. They had all the results of everything that i had done. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but make sure you call Dr H's office tomorrow just to be sure. It's just drizzling here in Westerly..... Carol, My paper doesn't say anything like that about the blood work. I am going for the blood work tomorrow so I am not sure. Claudia

Teri, Glad that u had a really great day today. I am not a mom yet but ny day did not go to well because the hospital I work at was very busy!! I hope everybodies day is great!! Shannon

hey girl.. happy mother's day! i'm curious.. how did going out to the Steak Loft go? [yes, i typo'd that... "streak loft".. LOL] i was going to go to breakfast with my mom and dad, but decided not to at the last minute. i thought about all the smells from breakfast, greasy eggs, bacon.. and honestly, made myself sick thinking about it. my mom saw this and said.. really, you don't have to go. so i stayed home. i think i made the right choice - if i had gotten ill while we were there, it would've ruined it for my mom. i did buy her a beautiful outfit from Coldwater Creek that she's been eyeing.. she was so surprised! she didn't expect that at all. i love surprising her! so, when do we get to see the sun again? my tan is fading quickly!!!! kristen

Well kristen, It wasn't fun....I wanted a really soft piece of steak so I ordered filet migon....and two bites and I was in the bathroom....thank god it was close....I said I never want to go to another restaurant....I was sick all night.... It's funny, my best friend kat, anything she makes stays down for me...so i guess she'll be doing the cooking for me lol.... I know this rain is getting to me...I don't feel like going to curves this morning because I'm sick of the rain...but I will make myself go...I didn't go at all this weekend, and I feel it...so I have to get in the shower, go to curves and then to the vet with my dog...He has mange, he's had it for about a month now....its not the contagious kind...he was born with it....the vet said his hair should be growing back by now, but it isn't and i'm getting so upset about it....he's a mastiff and he's 11 months old...he looks like a leopard dog lol...but he's my baby and I want him all better....
