Hello peeps...lol (got that from Teri) Well, Wednesday is the big day for me, and I was wondering to all of you who have had wls, does the hospital give you all of your daily meds that you were taking before you went in. I know you are not supposed to bring your own in...right??? Also, did all of you take your dailey meds the day that you went in to the hospital. I know it says no liquids aftermidnight but I would think tha****er is ok ...a couple of small sips...i have had many surgeries and have taken my daily meds before I went in. I am asking this because my previous surgeries were mostly hand surgeries, not like this one. Please let me know ok? thanks so much ps....I just wi**** would just rain....and get it over with it. My artharis is killing me with all of this dampness. Although I did go to the gym and i walked over a mile and i felt so much better. Also just thought of another thing, I am drinking some protein drinks and I find that I am getting diaharea a short time after i drink them. I wonder if this is happening to any of you? " Carol

Hi Carol, You stole my saying huh? lol You do not take any of your meds the day of surgery. You bring in a list of all your prescriptions with the dosage and they will give you them...You do not bring in your own. Protein drinks were doing the same to me...are you drinking them with milk? if so, try it with cold water instead. Hope this helps, Teri

Hi, I will call Helen next week. But it says on the papers they gave me this, "If you are on morning or daily medications, take them with just a sip of water the day of surgery unless otherwise directed by your physican." I know Helen told me not to take my water pill, but i will call again. Claudia
