I have not yet had surgery with Dr Gagner but I am hoping to ! I am coming from Winnipeg Manitoba if I can get provincial approval. I hear he is a great surgeon.

Hello,
I am hopefully travelling to Quebec in the near future for surgery, still appealing and red tape, but I'm trying to stay positive. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba. I just wanted to see if anyone knows of any hotels close to the Hopital due Sacre Coeur ? I don't know Montreal at all, and I want to find something close so my husband can easily come and go from the hospital without spending all our money on cab fare ! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That is amazing! I too was a 5x-6x. I still kept my size 32 jeans from Penningtons! Now I fit into a 16/18. It is the best feeling in the world.

Has anyone had day surgery at the Rockland clinic? What was it like - how long were you there etc?
I'll be attending my info session at the end of february... So I'm very interested in following your timeline progress!
I do have a question: do you know how much time off work after a DS surgery is given at the RVH? Thank you!
I have Dr Atlas. Got on the waiting list march 2010 and was told 1- 1/2 yrs it is coming up on 3 years and I just got my call - will be having surgery in 2 weeks at the Rockland MD in Montreal

My partner is having surgery with Dr. Atlas at Rockland on Feb 18th. Is that where you are too?
My #1 activity I want to get back to is downhill skiing... At my weight I am terrified to go.The heavier you are the faster to go. The last time I went 50 pounds lighter, the boots were to small for my calfs :(... I went anyway cause I was there. but getting up after you fall(with my knees) wow, not a pretty sight... I been day dreaming about the day I will be able to go back!!
