There defiantly is parking Lot. My family is driving me in, because i don't want to drive myself and they were asking the same thing. I am sure there's got to be parking there or maybe 1 street away. So you don't have to leave your car there you might consider letting someone drive your car home with you when you get out. Or taxi in and lift back home.. you defiantly have options.

Yes, it's true... Wait times are minimal. I have waited only 1 year..I just got my date today.. it is in 1 month from now(very quick!). My initial request was made at the RVH. And the info session was there as well, but the surgery was set at lachine. I was told they do that because of the lack of operating rooms at the RVH. The doctor also told me that the waiting list are not what they used to be at the RVH. That they are now doing a lot of surgeries and the waiting list is minimal. She also said they are getting to the end of the list for the people who have been waiting 3+ years.

In comparison to the sacre coeur hospital.. which a sent in an application at the exact same time. With in a couple of months I got a consult at the Rockland med center, and I never heard back from them.

I am debating on blogging the entire experience for Youtube..Becuause there are so few people who document there hospital portion.

After One year of waiting....March 26th,2013 at Lachine Hospital with Dr.Court!!! I made my application through the Royal Vic Hospital...So scared yet soo excited!!

I had pain for 2-3 days then I was fine, went back to work after 7 days.. everyone is different and pace yourself...

Make sure to take your acid pills, acid can give you a feeling of hunger...

I also followed the sacre coeur diet, clear liquids, then liquids, then puree's then finely chopped... ect.. don't rush anything, you have all the time in the world to get to know your new stomach!
