Am totally used to the Optifast now. Anyway....whatever gets to me to m goal...I've quit smoking after 20+ years, I can do anything!
Most pharmacies carry it, you just have to ask for it (generally found behind the counter) or they can order it and it comes quickly.. however, as many have mentioned, it doesn't taste great and honestly it's not that much grams of protein... shakes contain much more....
Good Luck - The Optifast is kind of gross at first but you get used to it quickly. I have seen the benefibre and rortein at Walmart and you dont need a prescription
Hi~
I'm having the Roux-en-Y surgery with Dr. Demettynaere (I think that's how it's spelt).
LOL
No I havent tried the optifast.. I have it for 2 weeks, and start only on the 13th.
Hi Tiundra, rooting for you as well and wish you all the best. What surgery are you having and who is your doctor at the Vic?
Hi, rooting for you with your upcoming surgery. Did you try the optifast? Is it tolerable? How long do you have to take for?
Thx,
There was such a wait that the dietitian took me and 2 other ladies to do the info, We also didn't get any BP. We did get the Optifast. Maybe we get the precription for it when we leave the hospital, with the other prescriptions we will be getting (lovenox, vitamins ect)
Good luck to you as well!!
If you don't mind paying, there are lots of paying parking lots in Old Montreal... you will have no problem finding one. Not sure what their price range is.
