Thank you verry much.
Hi vero, just curious... how much weight did you lose per-op (on the optifast)?
Also glad to hear things are getting better.
Hi Sylvie, in addition to the common things people usual post to bring to hospital, I would say some throat losanges. The surgeon said it was ok for my husband to buy some for me while I was at hospital because they couldn't do anything else for the throat pain. The losanges helped a litlle. P.S. Just so you know, my throat no longer hurts, yay!

do i look like a gas expert?! lol. just kidding, cant help laugh at the question. ;) I didnt have much gas pain from the surgery, i tried to walk as soon and as much as possible after surgery. I was also not shy about taking pain medication in those first few days ... this really helped me keep moving and worked the gas out. I did pass a fair amount of gas, but it didnt seem to settle into my shoulders like a lot of people claim it did for them.
I hope they will keep my a few days because I will have my surgery at Sacre-Coeur hospital and I live in Gatineau and I have 4 kids at home (4-11 years old)
Do you suggest me to bring something at the hospital?
I don't know why I'm asking all these questions because I didn't receive any call yet loll
Anyway congrats and I hope that you will heal fast

i'm not sure i would get anything out of it, but i'm starting to worry about my weight loss progress and prett yterrified about slipping into old habits now that i'm starting on the full foods diet. I heard there is one in Laval somewhere?
Hi everyone, was discharged this evening and overall everything went well. I was surprised by the pain caused by intubation but other than that I'm tolerating everything well so far.
I'll be in touch!
