Topic: Monday Weigh-In and some EXCITING news!!! :)
Hey Guys,
I hope you all had a nice weekend and I hope all the Moms out there had a great Mother's Day. First and formost I wanted to break the news to you guys that yesterday I popped the question and she said YES!!! After several years together, everything in my life is finally getting back on the right track and felt that it couldn't be any better than to commit to a long and healthy life with my lover.
On top of the news, yesterday was my first day at the gym. My trainer made me a plan to follow to excel in hockey. Let me just tell you that I have trouble lifting my legs today. It'll be a tough first couple of weeks but I will get into the roll of things.
As for the numbers, to make a long story short, I gave my scale to my heavier cousin because her scale did not work anymore and took my old one out as I was approaching it's maximum of 330 pounds. Well Thursday of last week it finally showed me a number of 332.4 and this morning I was 327.8 so it looks like all this cardio, working out, golf and hockey are paying off. Two Mondays ago I was 334 on the other scale but I really think it was about 3 pounds off so I was more like 337. So all in all, I'll take a loss of 4.6 pounds since Thursday.
Now, let's see your numbers!!!

Hi MahMahGoose and welcome to the board!
Even though this is a restaurant and the cir****tances aren't the best because you will just be coming off clear liquids, there is always something on the menu that could do you good. They have soups and other things. I know two weeks out I had a bit of sushi and as long as you chew well and you take your time, you will be ok. It would be great if you could come out and meet us. The more the merrier and it'll also help you see some of us and share our different stories.

Hi Joel!
Too bad you can't make it. I will make sure to be a paparozzi at our get together. I hope more people decide to show up!

I read about the get together, but I will be on clear fluids until the 12th and just starting regular fluids. It is a restaurant isn't it? I'm not sure I can handle that yet.
Topic: RE: Sacré Coeur Hospital Card...
Hey Ada,
I just went to Sacre-Coeur last week for my pre-op tests so I have fresh info on how to get your card!
Go down that long corridor at the main entrance. At the end there's an information booth. Turn left, there will be an elevator to your left. Go to the 3rd floor. When you get out of the elevator, turn right and follow the sign for 3e H (it's not far, a corridor on your left). Once you are there, you'll see that all doors have numbers, go to door number 16 and there you are! It took me less than 10 min to get it done, but get there earlier in case there's a crowd.
With that said, I'm not sure you'll need one. I did because of my sleep apnea test, but if it were just for the blood test I wouldn't have needed it.
You'll love the nurses at the bariatric surgery office, they are incredibly nice.
See you on Saturday for sushi!!

Don't take in consideration my preference for time because my work schedule was changed (again!), so I won't make it to Mtl again!
Have fun and enjoy your meal!
P.S.: Could someone take pics and post them? I, for one, and surely Brenda and Diane, would appreciate.
