Ok so now the poor me stage is over....
I need to get moving again.
But since I'm a single mom with 2 small kids the gym is out of the question.

So I tried to find some second hand stuff to work out at home. I have a treadmill that only goes half speed (but it's fast enough for me now). And I got some handweights.

My biggest problem is knowing how much and what to do.  And how do you all find the motivation to get up and do it?

Any tips? I was doing really well when the weight was coming off fast but now that it's not I feel totally de-motivated and that needs to change.

Hi all,

I have been missing from here for the past few months. I have been having a really hard couple of months. Lots of feelings to deal with and I was not winning the battle against my inner daemons. :(

And of course instead of relying on the one group of people who understand the most I was hiding. But after hearing from Derek and Nathalie on Facebook I realized just how silly that is.

So I have mixed feelings about my one year surgeversary, I'm not any where near where I had hopped to be. But as others around me keep reminding me, be proud of what you have accomplished. So I'm trying that.

I can now cross my legs, buy tops in regular stores, bike ride again and many other small and not so small victories.  So I have to try and focus on those.

Here's hopping this year will bring me even closer to my goals.
