Was anyone sent home with these? Single dose injectable prevention for DVT.

Yup, I had my surgery at Sacre coeur by Dr Denis and I had 21 days of injections. My friend had her surgery at Rockland and was also sent home with 21 days of injections as well.

I've had heparin shots during prolonged hospital stays, i guess this is similar. if you can keep your activity up you probably wont have for very long.  which is good because since they are blood thinners, you tend to get bruise around injection point.

I believe it's mandatory for 21 days... I had brusing around the injection sites.. and you have to alternate the sides, one day left, next day right.. it only started to become painful around 16 days... when I was running out of new places ...

Honestly, it's not bad at all! You'll survive!
