Hi Lindsay,  I just spoke to my nutritionist and was told that we will only be able to take in 2 onz.  OMG!!  It is soooo little.  I thought we would be able to take in like 4onz..  I guess that is only in the beginning.....

So how are you doing? Physically I mean, no more pain?  eating easier?

I'm doing great! I am finally off my 3 lonnnng week stall and starting to loose again

I visite the gym at least 3X per week and I try to get a day of the pool in too:) don't want any hangy skin!! :) Even tho it is inevitable.

I have no more pain.. My life is back to normal. I am 3 weeks out and heading back to work today! the only thing thats really changed is I bring my food with me EVERYWHERE!! I have freezer packs coming out the wazhoo. I really need to be drinking more water.. I am a little lazy on the water front but I am getting there

No regrets AT ALL!! I am down 34lbs and loving it!@!#@!

Lindsay,

Did Dr. Safa assist in your surgery. Now he's doing mine on monday.

I wonder if Dr. Denis will be present too. I know they were both there during my last surgery.

 Hi Lindsay

Good that you are doing well :0)

You say you are going to the gym?  How many weeks do you have after surgery?  I had the following instructions to prevent an hernia or another problem and there are Dr who said to do nothing at all for 2 months (that's extreme I think):

Walk 15 minutes since the first days, if you are use to walk you can do 30min or more the second week

Swimming the moment the incisions are completely healed

4 weeks after surgery you can began using the eliptical trainer.

8 weeks after surgery you can start with  abdominal crunches push-ups, sit-ups, squats

8 weeks after surgery you can start pilates

12 weeks after surgery you can start aerobics, running and hard aerobics (and  jazzercise).

24 weeks after surgery you can start bowling

When my family Dr saw me she said too not to do abdominal exercise in 2 months, nor hard exercise.

Take care

Rosie

What kind of exercise do you do at the gym?
