12 weeks post op on Tuesday!

Hi all! 

So.. 12 weeks ago (on tuesday) I was sleeved.. best.desicion.ever! 

I've posted some pictures to my profile.. since it won't let me post them here..

All the things that have changed... too many to name! 

I'm so grateful to my sleeve and all the amazing people I have met as a result! 

I can cross my legs comfortably now.. I got my "groove" back, I feel pretty again, my husband LOVES the new me... Tomorrow I am celebrating 7 years of marriage, and I am so grateful to be 70 lbs lighter! 

Life is wonderful!

your pics are amazing..... my daughter and I spoke with you at the nutrition seminar back in august of 2011....... she was amazed as well......

Oh my! Hi Robyn!!! How are you??? How is your daughter? Has she made a choice regardig the surgery??? 

I've been soo busy and time has just flown by that I thought my surgery was 12 weeks ago, but it was actually 11 weeks ago!! :) 

Lindsay's surgery is October 18th!!!! :) Can't wait!!!!

Stacey will be 19 yrs old....... she is in her last yr of cegep at vanier in Early Childhood Education..... I shipped her off to camp to work with behavior children and she lost 50 pounds by keeping active.......lol..... (she finally got it) at her age it should come off easier...
She has since joined the varsity rugby team at vanier and continues to lose......I am soo proud of her...

What the future holds I am not sure......I was always active and needed to stay active to keep my weight down....it wasnt after my cesareans and scare tissue developed did I pack on the pounds and had my metabolism die.......I hope she can beat this....

My reality set in this yr (summer) I swim 6 days a wk, lengths and yet nothing came off.  it wasnt until I did the liquid diet and veggies did I see a difference....but I starved every day..... from morning until night...

I was also diabetic......(I said was lol) pill form but it was suggested by dr. to start insulin....I couldnt bare to ......... I loathed the thought......

4 days out of surgery my diabetes was normal and continues to be normal.....that in itself is a miracle...........

I am happy for both you and Lindsay.......... she is having it at Rockland?

Wow! You should be proud of her, and she should be proud of herself!! That's wonderful...That is fantastic.. I hear ya with loosing weight after babies... it's next to impossible! Just finding time is hard!! I need to take more time for me.. without feeling guilty! 

I'm soo happy for you!! Keep rockin' that sleeve! :)
