needing help with a question,

Im sorry in advance for the explanation,so heres my question,what do you do for constipation,Colace is being taken already,but it had got so bad that when i finally wenrt to the washroom it was so very painful,and bleed a little bit,i dont want to go through that again as im sure being constipated as well as forcing and so on can not be good,it helped and was able to go to the washroom after taking senekot as i had no choice,i am going to start with benefiber but im needing to know do any of you have or had this problem and what did you do or didnt do,I really think this should and cant happen again,Any advice would be much appriciated.

I use restoralax ....it is tasteless and works gently within 12-24hrs  MOM also works but I'm not big on the taste
