So.. what's a worse case senario?

... How's this... Today May 30th, 2 days before my surgery (June 1st) and day 13 of my optifast... I get a call... from the scheduling department... My surgery for friday is CANCELLED...
Why? they are not 100% sure.. something to do with they were suppose to have the GREEN light to start surgeries at Rockland as of June 1st and it seems that there is a document missing to allow them to proceed... RED TAPE.
I've been waiting 22 months, I'm SICK and TIRED of QUEBEC and the GOD DAMN RED TAPE! 
Get your god damn acts together and get it done!

OOOHO NOOOO.   that's frigging ridiculous.     Missing documents, PLEEAASSEEE.     Simply crazy.

Am sorry to hear it Barbara,  I am hoping that things move quickly and your surgery will be within a week or two of what was anticipated.    

I mean, why is the government making it so difficult for Rockland to HELP PEOPLE.     The waiting list is getting ridiculous.....

Oh no!  I'm sorry that you got this news...That is just crazy, and so frustrating!  I can't believe how late you're getting this news. They didn't give you an idea how long it would take to to get rescheduled?  Do you just stay on the optifast?  Geez, what about scheduling time off work etc, things could get really complicated.  I guess that's a reminder that it just won't feel real until I wake up after surgery.

I didn't know they were starting back at Rockland again, thank god they are - the waiting list is unbelievable.

I spoke with Martine and I emailed Dr Denis - *****plied, They are PISSED. It's and administrative issue at Rockland and they were suppose to start back day surgeries June 1st at Rockland, but now it looks like that date has been pushed to September, I don't understand all this damn red tape!!! They told me to stop the optifast (today was my last day anyways) and Matrine said she will try her best to figure something out and reschedule me asap... but who knows...

So they called today to reschedule. JULY 17th! I'll believe it when it's the 17th and I am counting backwards, but I am still excited none the less! :) 

 Is it going to be at Rockland on the 17th?

No, Sacre Coeur... Doesn't look like there will be any at rockland until September, according to Dr Denis...
