1/2 way mark!

Thanks, I actually don't like coffee and I didn't buy any vanilla as per a friends recommendation, but is it wrong to say I actually don't mind the chocolate one at all? 

It ain't wrong girl ... chocolate is good also. Sometimes I would add a dash of cinnamon - made it really warm and comforting :)

 Congrats to you on your success.     I cannot wait to get my call.  I am also with Dr. Denis & am getting rather eager.  :-)   May I ask how long you waited prior to getting your call?   Just soI can get an idea of how much closer I am getting to my day.    

I agree with you in regards to this site,  It is incredible.  I read a lot of the stories - good and bad so I am mentally ready for this.     It's time.

I've been waiting since 2010.. I was suppose to be at Rockland this friday June 1st, but they just called to tell me there has been ANOTHER problem (with the government or something) and they called to cancel my date.. I have to call back tomorrow for more news..
I am BEYOND DEVASTATED! 

 I would definately be upset too.    Especially waiting so long & being soooo close  


I too have been waiting since 2010 (September) and if that were me, I would definately be upset as well.   Especially waiting so long as you did.

 Hey Kelley - Are you going to Rockland for surgery or Sacre Coeur? Did they tell you how long your wait might be?  Does anyone know what the cutoff is for surgery at Rockland - I know for sure I'm going to Sacre Couer because I have a higher BMI but my partner is 300lbs so maybe Rockland surgery is possible again?....

 I unfortunately haven't heard anything yet from the scheduling office.    I did call Martine early this year and she said that I probably won't be called until later on this year OR MAYBE early next year.     I was initially told 18 months with Dr. Ronald Denis.   ..... that has come and gone.   :-(         

I have a very high BMI as well so am not sure if I am eligible to have surgery at Rockland.      Each week I think to myself - I'll get the call, I'll get the call....      althought it hasn't come, I'll keep my head up high.    

Am hoping that Rockland opens up again for surgeries as that would aleviate the wait time.     

Have you heard anything?

 hello,i definatly prefered the chocolate,i had cheated a bit as i was so hungry i was having horrible headaches,i was also eating carrots was never told i could not eat carrots,lol,my mother tried vanilla as i had alot left over and mixed with black coffee was amazing she said,and now it is a new and improved optifast it dose taste better then when i had to drink it last year,but who ever is on optifast judt remember what the outcome will be and what your working for,i know its hard and its always worrysome to thin what if they open me up and they cant do itbecause the liver is still big or swollen,i did it for 2 weeks but for those who are doing itfor 4 or 6 weeks its much harder,and even if your bmi is under the mark you still might have to di longer,my momscblood tests came back and was told to do it for 6 weeks as her liver was fatty and enlarged,so it was shocker,so myadvice never think thatif your under the right amount for the time of optifast because your blood tests may show something different needing to stay on optifast longer,Amanda
