1/2 way mark!

Today is day 7 of my optifast, in 7 days I will be sleeved!!! I can NOT wait! I am sooooo excited! 
I am so grateful that my BFF  turned me to this site, the support and stories I have ready the past week have made me EVEN more excited and anxious for my surgery!!! 

 

7 Days under your belt!! another 7 to go!!! you can do it!!!! 
I am so proud of you and your increadable will power this week. It has not been easy.

Fantastic results on your OptiFast...yes it is tough but let me tell you that your body will be all the better for it and it will help the surgeon immensely if you do the OptiFast the way you should. I did my OptiFast over the Christmas/New Year Festivities but I looked at it as a challenge and I met it head on.

Post-op my surgeon told me that the surgery he performed on me was one of the easiest he'd performed and most of it was due to the fact that I did a fantastic job with my OptiFast.

I've tried EXTREMELY hard to follow it to a tee! Hopefully my liver will reflect that at my time of surgery! ;)

Thank you Elena! I CAN'T wait!! I'm SOOO excited! People that have seen me say, "why not just stay on the optifast"... right.. that will fix everything! 
Have you had any news on your date??
I'm soo happy to have found this forum full of love and support!! 

 No news yet - but I'm really hopeful to hear something by September!  I'm so tired of waiting and I'm so tempted to jump on a plane and get it done in Mexico!  But I've waited this long...what's another 4-6 months...right?  But I do love to hear all the details of other people's experience - I learn so much everyone and I can just imagine you must be on cloud 9...I'm really happy and excited for you!

I can imagine your frustration, but don't go to mexico!! I've read some horror stories on here!! ;) 
I think it's when you are mentally ready if that makes any sense?
I got my call last fall and everything fell thru, a few weeks later I was laid off and went thru a few months of total **** but now, everything seems to be "replacing" itself and the time is right!

I am really happy for you! I used to make the vanilla in a blender with a cup of coffee! I loved it. Like a latte! You will see time will fly.
