has anyone experienced the sleeve not working ?

Hello,

I am waiting to be on the "Loosers bench" of course anxious for the operation. 
Has anyone experienced the sleeve not working? I know of the slow progression some have had as well as plateaus...

Some feedback would be great..... how was the fast, how about eating habits right out of surgery.... what to look for.... has anyone lost hair like they say can happen?

Vitamins..... did everyone take liquid form if so was it from the pharmacy, or elsewhere?

Im also waiting to meet with Dr Garneau. I have had my tests done and stuff...now just the date.

From what I have read, and my friends who have had the sleeve, they have all had good success.  I think that the common element is to follow the nurtitional plan, walk walk walk, sip sip sip, and get that protein in.


The nutritional plan seems to be the same as the one I had for my band but with the slip, it has wreaked havoc on my stomach.  For my band surgery, and as with the sleeve revision, i will take the liquid multivitamin to start and switch to the chewable over time.

No clue...I have had the bloodwork/tests and met wtih the NUT but am waiting for the date.

It looks as though you have  your date?.... ur starting your liquid diet?
let me know how it goes.....

 how long have you guys been waiting?  To me it seems like Dr. Garneau's wait time is a bit shorter than Dr. Atlas, but its hard to say.

it has been 18 months to date that I have been waiting..................
