Hey gang,
I've been away from OH this past week but I've been thinking of you guys. Sorry I missed some of you at Heidi's BBQ but I was at a cottage. I didn't think there was much interest at the time so I had made plans. My bad :(. Anyways, these past few weeks have been slow on the losing side but I'm still down 3 pounds since last week. I haven't been active (gym wise) enough these past months and I have to get back on track. Does anyone know how much time it takes for something to become routine? Like I seriously hate going to the gym but I want to be ripped and make everyone drool when I take my shirt off you know what I'm saying? LOL I know I can go to the gym every day but I just don't do it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I just can't get motivated enough to go. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have a great week everyone.

Hey,
Good to hear from you buddy!
I don't know how long it takes to "internalize" a routine but going to the gym each and every day seems a bit excessive to me. Since your body needs time to rest and make muscle fibers between training sessions, trainers usually recommand going to the gym 3 times a week or every other day. Exercising outside (cardio training) on off-gym days is a good idea. Going every other day on a regular basis is much more profitable than going every day and risking getting rapidly bored or p!ssed off by training...

My two cents...

Have a good  week everyone!|

Hey Joel!
I'd love to hit the gym at least 3 days a week into the swing of things but right now I just want to get motivated to go so I will be hitting it 5 times this week. So far I'm 3 for 3.

Revision on 01/13/14
Hi!

I must admit, I'm a little on the lazy side myself. The gym is definitely not my favorite places to go. I'll pick my pool over it anytime. I have been consistently losing around 3 pounds per week; today I am 12 weeks out and have lost 52 pounds. Yay me!!!!

Have a great week everybody!!

Heidi

Revision from sleeve to RNY is set for January 13, 2014.

I guess it's been a lazy summer all around, then! Not much going on in the exercise front here either. As a result, the weight loss is not going super fast

At least it's going down, which is better than the alternative!

I hope we all have a very active week!

It takes 30 consecutive days to make a new habit.  And dont feel bad... I suck at going to the gym regularly also!  I figure since my job is super active I balance it out.

I am still at 254... UGH.  I had my IUD removed and my hormones and body are doing funky weird things... so I may not meet my goal of 250 by the end of July... h owever my inches are melting away!!

I am now wearing a size 16 jean!!!  I will upload some pictures soon.  I also comfortably wear a size L-XL women's size shirt.  I could wear a Medium if I already had my arm skin surgery.  And I can wear a size 14 skirt-  Its the skin on my legs that are stopping me.  I have a consultation with my plastic surgeon on Aug. 17th and I will see in which direction I will head for my second plastic surgery!!

Life is stabalizing here.  I am fully unpacked and missing my Simon sooooo much.  At least I have work to keep me busy most of the time.  When that doesn't keep me busy, my friends and family do!  It is weird not hearing French everywhere I go... :(

So as you can see things are same-ol' over here.  (I have got my Texas twang back a bit in my speaking.... its funny how easy it comes back no matter how hard I try and drop it!)

Hey Sarah!
How's my favorite cowgirl doing? You want me to send you down a poutine or something to remind you of Quebec? How the heck are you going to live without hockey? LOL Anyways, glad to see you are doing well and that your new grooming job is, sorry the pun, paying off for you. Isn't it great to be able to fit into smaller clothes? I know it feels great for me. Keep up the good work!

Ok then! I will keep it. Shipping Simon might bust my budget though. Good luck at the gym! It's not easy walking in there but u always feel great right after a workout. Huse sens of accomplishment.

Hi all,

Well not much changed weight wise for me this week.
I was back at work and back to some of my bad habits, like too much coffee and not enough water.

Still afraid to move around too much, cause of the stones in my kidneys. I'm getting some more removed on Aug. 23rd. So I'll be back on lots of water :)

Congrats to you all that lost or maintained your weight this week.

Have a nice weekend everyone. The weather is supposed to be beautiful.
