Buying vitamins in montreal
Hi,
I just get mine from Jean Coutu but I only take 1 multi-vitamin a day. I know you DS patients need a bit more so maybe Joel can chime in as the only DS patient on our board.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Derek

Hi!,
I don't know what Dr Gagner recommands, but DSers fron Hopital Laval usually take one multivit (namely Centrum forte), calciun carbonate, ferrous sulfate and vitamins A & D. Daily dosage varies according to blood tests. I think most people get their meds at their local pharmacy. Most supplements are covered by insurance automatically or necessitate a written note from your doc to be sent to the insurance company. Some people prefer "specialty products" from Bariatric choice or other on-line shops, but there's no absolute need to buy that stuff...
Hope it helps!
