I guess if you worked on the weekend it's okay, you're forgiven.  (I bet you feel much better now!)

I work at a hospital, so I know all about working weekends. No fun. I sympathize.

Have a good one!

If sleepless nights had anything to do with WL I would have been skinny years ago!!!! Joel, how in the heck can you drink beer? The carbonation kills me. I haven't had pop, perier, or beer since surgery....well I did try but the gas.....couldn't get it down. Last summer you were drinking ice coffee's and now beer!!!! I am so so jealous of you know. LOL . I must also admit I do have my small sin foods. I can get away with small quantities of sugar so this week I ate a small teaspoon of maple sugar products everyday....it was delish and very gratifying. I am still keeping myself on my toes. I keep dreading the next few months as everyone says it is at 18mths the weight regain happens. Will see. I agree with Joel. I find this much easier than any diet I have been on prior to surgery so Ana and Derek and all the others who are dieting prior to surgery you are doing great and an inspiration to others. You will reach your goals I am sure of it.
Ana enjoy your trip....I would love to go to Brazil one day. We'll miss you on the board. Have fun.
Nathalie, a loss is a loss and you are doing great. You will definately find more time for yourself as those hormones decrease....the down side is that your memory goes also and you forget that you have more time for yourself .

I guess I like testing my limits...

I avoid pops, Perrier and beers that are too bubbly...But, once in a while, I enjoy a cold one...I just have to choose it carefully. I tend to tolerate brown beer (like a scotch ale) because it's much less carbonated than commercial blond beers (Coors and the likes)...

But I tend to forget about the carb load of those...and scale has gone up these last days. Gotta monitor the situation more closely. I guess it's part of fine-tuning those new guts...
