Glad to hear that you maintain easily, good for you! I'm stable as well (177lbs, give or take a few ounces)
Guess l'll go brew some java before my significant others wake up!

Due to the cir****tances, I was not able to get a VLOG in this week. My numbers were pretty slow last week compared to the others. Yesterday when I hoped on the scale it said that I lost 5 pounds. I know it's still better than nothing but I know I have to improve. I think the low-fat dressing and cream in the coffee is killing me (not really but slowing it down). However, this morning I hoped on and I lost 2.8 since yesterday so that was reassuring. I am now at 379.8 pounds and only 4.8 pounds from my goal. I know I can hit it! I have 10 days to do it!
Have a good week everyone!

Derek, I'm sorry, but you have no right to complain!!! 7.8 lbs lost in a week and a day?! That's amazing! I have no doubt you'll reach your goal for your before surgery weight and even pass it! Keep doing whatever it is you're doing because it's working!
As for me, I lost another 2 lbs. this week. Yay! Started therapy on Saturday and I'm doing my food journal for the nutritionist at Sacré-Cœur. Does anyone know if it's okay to do it in English? Because my written French kind of sucks.
I'll be going to Brazil next week for 2 weeks, so I won't be around much, but I hope the Monday morning weigh-in is still going strong when I come back, even if I'll certainly be a few pounds heavier after going to visit my family...
Have a great week, everyone!
Ana
Prep work for surgery seems to go rather well, congrats!
Concerning maintenance; I sincerely thing that maintaining weight post-op is easier than everything I've ever tried to achieve losing weight before surgery. The benefits gained by watching post-op nutritionnal rules made me understand the importance of those rules.

Watching your post, does it mean that when I will be at my goal weight, I won`t sleep ? However, if I stop sleeping, I might have more time to myself. I have been so busy lately at the office, I would really like to find the one who said that public servant don`t work.
Glad to see that you are both able to keep your weight.
Derek, they say that it is through the ordeal that we show how strong we are. You can say that if you are able to go true this, while on your liquid diet, you will be able to avoid temptation later.
Ana, keep up the good work girl.
As for myself, I went down 1.4 lbs. I would love to see bigger (or smaller depend how you see it) number on the scale but as long as goes down, I can not complain.
I can`t wait for the winter to be over, we can try to have another get together. I miss you all.
Nathalie
There are no small losses...A loss is a loss is a loss!
About insomnia: mine is not WLS-related...I've been a bad boy monday night ; I had a couple of beers (2 to be exact) and they make me sleepy (faster than before) but they also shorten sleep duration...I then wake up kind of early... (note for Ana: OK, I admit...I follow rules most of the time...)

Yeah, Joel, I know we can't be good ALL the time! But that's the fun thing about maintenance, being able to take a break from dieting from time to time. Rules were made to be broken! But seriously, as long as you are able to keep your weight, there's nothing to worry about. An odd choice of day for your beers, though I'm glad you found a reason to party on a Monday night!!
Thanks for the support! Let's all beat this silly obesity thing!
Ana
(note to self: why do I feel the need to justify having beer on a week night???)
