monday morning weigh in
Hi guys!
Hope everyone had a great week,
Good job Doris, loser's bench is getting closer and closer!!!
My wife and I went to Québec city on saturday (grand-parents babysitted 8-) ) and spent a relaxing weekend. Spending time reading a book and taking over 2 hours chatting over a good meal works wonders. Now back to the battlefield!...
My weight has been table for a couple of months, oscillating between 175 and 178 pounds...Keep the faith pre-op friends, WLS works!

Congrats, Doris, you make me feel like starting the liquid diet right away! I didn't have a very good week. I mean, I eat right all week, I'm even starting to walk to work (2 Km) when the weather allows, but I went to the restaurant ONCE! I had no appetizers or desert, just the main course (yummy steak tartar) and I gained 2 lbs.! It's just so discouraging, no wonder I can never stick to any diet plan long enough! It takes me days to lose anything and just one meal to gain it back!
Sorry about the rant :-( Let's just keep going on!

Hi everyone,
Very good Doris, keep your spirit up, it is a very big part of the success.
Ana, don't worry too much, the fact that we all have trouble sticking to a diet is the main reason why we are all here and look for help via the WLS.
Joel, it is a very good news that you are able to maintain your weight, it does show to all of us going there that the trip has a good end.
Cindy, as my boss like to say "this too will pass". However, I would agree with you, considering the amount of fat in almond, it would be a good thing to try cutting.
For my part, I am still on the down slope, I have lost another 2.5 lbs, bringing be to almost 120 lbs since I started this journey. It is very impressive.
Have a great week everyone.
Nathalie
