Wondering about Doris?

Has anyone heard or know if Doris had her surgery as yet? I know it is supposed to be in February but I can't recall exactly when.  I wanted to send her well wishes for a noneventful surgery. Let's hope all went well. I am also looking forward to learning about her procedure as she will be having a different technique done than the rest of us. It will be interesting to know how here journey unfolds. We are certainly an ecclectic bunch on this board :)

Well I am still around.  I begin my opti-fast on the 14 th. and my surgery in Feb. 28 th. I picked up my optifast and I am ready to go.  Just waiting.  Ready to go. Thanks for asking.  I didn't think anyone was interested. I had all my blood work done my ECG and they even did Nuclear heart testing. They gave me the works.    Doris  QC.

Hope your Optifast goes well. You will be doing it at the same time as Derek will. He starts his Optifast on February 10 I believe.

Good luck on your journey and we are here for you even if at times we may be a little more quiet.

Thanks Ada.   IT will be interesting to see how we all make out.  All different.  Will keep you all posted on my results I am having my surgery at. Rockland Clinic.  I check in every day to see if anything is new.   I picked up my optifast last Mon. so I am prepared to start the 14 th.  Doris  QC.

I'm glad you have the OptiFast in hand and are ready to start the liquids. I start this up and coming Thursday. I'm excited and thrilled to start this journey! It's been a long time coming for me and I am eager to start.

I am very excited.  I just booked my room at the convent behind the hospital  It is $75.  a night for both of us.Meals included and free parking.  Did you look into it.  It sounds really good. We are booked for 3 nights.  Way cheaper than a hotel.  If you are interested let me know I will give you the contact name and number.  
       We will have surgery around the same time.  I only have to do 2 weeks of optifast. I begin on the 14 th.  It is getting very exciting.    Doris  QC.

I'm glad you are excited. I looked into the convent but my father in law wants to book a hotel for him and his daughter. He always wants the best for his kids. lol We will be staying overnight the night before to make sure we don't get traffic, bad weather or car problems the morning of surgery.
