Has it been 1 year already? It goes buy soooooo fast! I remember when you and Kassandra came on the board around this time and started bringing life to the QC board with your up and coming surgeries. I remember Kass was one the 1st and you on the 2nd. I thought to myself how lucky you both were to be where you were then. And her we are. 1 year later and a full person lost later. Healthier than ever and little to no pain. No more health problems and you don't worry about your weight being a factor anymore. Those are all the things I am looking forward too from my surgery. You have changed your views on food and are ready to keep maintaining what you currently have. You are a true inspiration to all of us. We are very proud of you and you should be proud to! You deserve the success you have!

Thanks Cindy and Derek, it is true, time flies by! Last year, I could never have imagined I would lost 178 pounds in less than a year!  Who knows at what point we will be next year... but surely in better health than never before!
Derek, I remember starting this journey with you on this then very calm forum... Some good friends joined during last year, and I am so glad we are all together to share all this! Hope we will get a chance to reunite again this year!
