A little bit of good news...
Hi everyone,
today, my mother was insisting that I call Martine again to see what was happening with my case. I was, in the last year, calling every 3 months and nothing yet... So I called and got the answering machine so I left my message and didn't expect a call bac****il Monday since it wasn't a urgent call.... But later this afternoon, she called me back.... Martine is so nice and patient.... She said that it wasn't my turn yet so I was a bit discouraged!!! After that, she asked me why I didn't want to be operated at the Rockland clinic??? I said what? I don't mind !!! I always thought that I had too many health problems to be operated on there!!! So, she asked me some questions about my health problems, my medications, my weight and my BMI... then said that I could probably get my surgery there!!!! She will talk to dr.Atlas about it and if he approves, I'm gonna be the next one they call for my pre-ops !!!! I'm so happy, I'm floating on a cloud right now!!! Imagine when they do call me for my date !!! After 25 months, finally some good news.... And to think that it could happen sooner than I thought.... Sorry if my message is long but I just had to tell someone who understands or I would explode from joy !!!

Ada, it is up to the surgeon for where we get operated on but Martine thought I had refused to be operated in Rockland but no one ever talked to me about it before.... I should have been told about it when I first met my surgeon but the option wasn't there back then... but it is now and it should happen for me real soon!!!!! I'm sooooo happy.....
