Monday Morning Weigh In
Hi gang! Well everyone must be really busy this week with last minute preperations for Xmas....you all pretty well know how my week went.....everything is coming back to normal. Got the Xmas tree up despite the dust flying everywhere with the basement cleanup job.
Well with all of this madness I am quite please to say I maintaining my weight. I did eat more unhealthy snacks just for a quick fix and had less protein, more carbs. I did certainly do my physical work than usual so that may have helped with my unhealthy eating pattern this week. This week is a new week and back to the basics. All in all I am very happy that I am becoming more and more comfortable with this stage of the journey. Have a great week everyone and for those travelling do drive safely. Merry Xmas!

Glad to have (good) news from gaspésie! Just listening to the news channels was kind of frightening last week...Now that things are getting better, I send you warm (and dry) wishes for Christmas and for a healthy and happy New Year. This surplus of stress must have been challenging for nutritional habits!
I'm currently finishing X-mas prep work...Enjoying the season despite having to deal with people that are ready to kill for a parking spot.
Weight control goes nicely...I'm getting quite good at dealing with real food and I lose about a pound a week...
Season's greatings to everyone!!!

I am trying to eat a little more because I don't want to lose anymore weight, but I find it difficult to eat without feeling guilty... and the scale not moving down...But I am getting better at it.
Old Christmas traditions will be a challenge this year, because I have to do some " sucre à la crème et des beignes maison" These are a special treat I do every year for my family... I will sure take some bites !!!
My hubby is feeling a bit better. Not able to eat at all ( vomits after purees) but he is now able to tolerate liquids, broth and yogurt. He'll see his doctor thursday for the result of the x-ray he did today.
Have a very happy Christmas and a new year full of health and happiness. To all those waiting, may the new year makes your dream come true!
Love you friends!
((hugs))

I am still moving down a consistent way. Last week I lost 2.4 lbs, considering that I had an office party and a supper with wine during the week-end, I consider it pretty good.
We did miss you at our small get together yesterday. However, it was good, even if the group is smaller, it still give the same boost of energy to meet each other. We met each other at 2:30 and got back home after 7:00. I enjoyed every minutes of it. You will all like Kessey when you will meet her at our next meeting.
I am getting ready to leave on Friday for 2 weeks in Florida to be with my "snowbirds" parents. We are spending 10 days at my parents and my mom has already planned healthy meals so I know that my journey will be find there. However, we are spending 3 days in Disneys` theme park and I know it will be more difficult.
I would like to wish Merry Christmas to all of you my friends and thanks for all of the support and positive vibes you gave me during the year. It is PRICELESS!!
Talk to you in the new year.
