Have a cup for me and Kessey hang in there. We all had these mixed anxious feelings leading up to surgery. You can read my profile and you'll notice all the same fears going through my head. If you've done your homework and really took the time to think this through and really listen to your inside voice you'll know what the right decision is for you and keep reminding yourself of that decision and then have faith in the surgery. Staying obese doesn't give you your health back but this surgery gives you a fighting chance. Sometimes you need to take that leap of faith. Goodluck and virtual hugs are sent your way....I am sure Nathalie and Derek will help in the support department. Take Care

I will defenitly have a cup for you Brenda! I read your story very inspiring. I just find it hard as i am an anxious person as it is... but i read a lot last night through here and i found that most VSG people seem to have less complications and risks... i just need so much comfort that i am doing the right thing...

It is a hard thing to decide on - I have had the same feelings. For me they have past but there was about a week I couldn't sleep or stop thinking about it. I decidedthat I wouldn't worry about it because it is so far away - this seemed to help my nerves.
Hang in there it will pass
