Anxious- Awaiting my surgery date before may 2011 - Should bet set for March 2011

Another person here from Gatineau and another with Dr. Garneau? Is this my lucky day??? I'm also going to be operated on in the new year by Dr. Garneau. I've done my first meeting with the nutrionist back in September and I'm just waiting for my blood tests and my final visit with the nurse and I'm ready for OptiFasy! How long have you been on the waiting list?

lol... i just looked at your reply post... yes it is weird same Dr and same city! I have been on since July  when i met the DR. my friend has had hers in June and she is doing great let me tell ya!

Wow that's a quick process. I've been waiting with Dr. Garneau since April 2009. I can't wait to finally get the call. It's been too long.

It is quick, but i am starting to worry that they wont actually give me the date by the time they said... I met Dr.Garneau in July and they put me on the list in August... last i heard they will be calling me in Jan/Feb to give me the group mtg appointment and provide me with the referal for blood test and sleep apnea test, then she said shortly after that they would contact me with my surgery date and she mentionned i would have mine before May 2011.

I am starting to wonder now considering you have been waiting for almost a year?!?

grrrrrr... lol

Not to scare you but it's almost 2 years!!! Yuck!!!

oh and she had said she would think i would have it March if the tests are clear... bah lol...

If they called you tell you that it must be true! I hope they call me soon too!

Welcome to our group. One of the great thing here is that we have people at different stages. Some are already in maintenance, other like me had surgery not so far ago and also some who are waiting for their date.

We try to get together as it is so good to be able to share and hear people in person.
