Monday Morning Weigh-in
Good morning losers...
How was eveyones week/week-end? My week was great food-wise with a little hiccup on Saturday but overall a great week for a non WLS patient.
Last week I weighed-in at 405 on the dot and this week I am... 393.8lbs for a total loss of 11.2lbs. I am totally chocked. I knew I was doing good but I was losing on average 2-3 pounds a day! Here's to another great week gang!
I'll see most of you on Saturday! I can't wait!
Derek

OMG Your weight loss is amazing! Imagine what it will be after WLS... Big congrats, it is so difficult dieting before , you are doing great...and that means less optifast for you!!LOL
I also had a great week, even if I indulged in popcorn at the movies friday, and ate a few blueberries muffins I made ( they were FF and SF...) . Last week I had only lost 0,5 lbs, this week...4 lbs !
LW 158 CW 154
I am also anxious to see you all saturday, but I need to know... Do we go to the thai or the sushi?? I didn't made any reservation yet, I was waiting for a come back on the sushi subject from the others to go with the majority...
So, if everyone could tell me where they want to go, and how many people... that will be much appreciated !
Have a nice week, and see you all ( most I hope) saturday!!
((hugs))

Hi everybody!
I hope you all had a nice week! Mine was very good. I went for an hour-long walk twice, had no food-related problems. Regular food integration is going well...OMG is regular ice cream sweet!!! (as in too sweet).
I stepped on my scale last thursday and realized that the reading was below 190lbs (189.4 to be exact)...I waited to have the opportunity to weigh myself a couple more times before telling anyone, to avoid deception (because preceeding weeks were not that good)...But, this morning, the result stands: 188.2lbs!
So, 50 weeks out of surgery, I've reached goal! I went from 345lbs (BMI 48.1) to 188.2lbs (BMI 26.2)...I now have to convince myself that those figures are real!!!
Thank you beloved board members for supporting (putting up with) me. Your presence is very precious to me!
@ Derek: You really are doing great, You're the man!!!
@ Diane: Big congrats for your hard work and continued success
Have a nice week!

That is amazing Joel! After only 50 weeks, you have lost over 150 pounds. That is roughly 3 pounds a week which is amazing. Not only that but you're still losing while trying to maintain which just shows how successfull surgery really is. It's too bad you can't make it on the weekend. We will have a toast to celebrate for you. We can have a real one next time we meet early in the new year. I love the new signature at the bottom too with your goal finally achieved! AMAZING!

Thanks Diane!
Indeed, my next mission in maintaining...as long as I breathe...We'll see how I do!
And I just realized that you are so close to your goal...That's great! Those 4 remaining pounds should fly away in no time!

Your weight losses are all great!!! I am so excited for the beginning of your journey, Derek... and the end of yours Joel!!!
For me, well It wasn't good, or bad. I maintained the same weight. Simon and I went on several long walks this week, and my muscles are sore and killing me... plus there is some water retention (being a gal is sooooo much fun I tell ya!) SO, all in all I think the week was a success!!
Well, enough about me...
Good job everyone and have a great week!!
