Dr. Michel Gagner

I'm interested in the VSG, and I understand he's one of the best surgeons for that.  Has anyone had him as their surgeon?  How is he?  He's in a private clinic, right?  Anyone know how much he charges?  (I'm in Ontario).

Actually Connie, from what I've heard, Dr. Michel Gagner isn't known for being the best VSG surgeon, he's even better than that!  He's known as being one of the best laporoscopic DS surgeons!  Which is beyond just the VSG portion.  I don't know what he charges for a VSG but I do know that if I had the option of being able to have him as my surgeon I would...in a heart beat. 

Agreed. He is a brilliant surgeon. My roommate during my recovery had just the vsg done as she was an extremely complicated surgery, and he did a fantastic job with her. Because of his skill and experience level you can feel in good hangs with Dr. Gagner.

Hi, Dr. Gagner and I have been playing telephone tag, so we have not actually been able to speak yet; in the meantime, does anyone know how follow-up is handled if you don't live in Montreal? What if there are post-op issues or complications? Thanks.

do you mean 2012. I am the first person in Quebec to have Gastric Plication. Feb. 27 th. 2011. No complications. I am doing great  Doris QC.

in having gastric plication with dr gagner in montreal on January 24, 2011..Very excited but very nervous..He told me he will be doing surgery at clinique de surgical in montreal but rockland looks alot newer and nicer???any comments...
